In this module, we will explore what investors truly care about. It’s important to understand that investors don’t focus on your products, services, or business model the same way you do. For them, the product they are buying is a piece of your company.
Think of it this way: when you buy something, you don’t just care about its features, but about what those features can do for you. Similarly, investors are not interested in the specific details of your product or business model. They care about the benefits and outcomes those details can bring them.
Investors look at your company and ask, “What can this investment do for me?” They want to know how investing in your startup will help them achieve their goals as investors see your company as a way to that.
